Amazing Grace Adoptions first opened its doors in 1999. We are licensed by the state of North Carolina as a child-placing agency, able to provide quality adoption and foster care services. We are a not-for-profit, pro-life organization that seeks funding from churches, foundations, individuals, and corporations in order to keep our fees to adoptive families as low as possible.

Our staff consists of 3 full time workers, as well as contract workers across the state of North Carolina:
Donnas Kinton, BS - Executive Director

Donnas has been a social worker since 1976, and has practiced in the field of adoption since 1996. She graduated from Campbell University with a degree in Social Services and has worked in the maternal and child health field in both the public and private sectors.
Hayley Walston, MSW - Domestic Adoptive Family Coordinator and Birthparent Counselor

Hayley is a social worker who has her BSW and MSW from University of North Carolina. She has been working in the foster and adoption field with birth parents, foster and adoptive families for several years. She is most likely the cheerful voice you will hear if you call the agency office. Hayley is responsible for helping all families who call with questions regarding the adoption process, as well as being the main contact for potential birthparents.
Hedda Forquer, MSW - Uganda Adoption Program Coordinator

Hedda is a social worker who has an MSW from Arizona State University. She is an adoptive parent to 4 children; one who was adopted from Uganda. She has been working in the adoption and foster care field since 1997. Hedda is the point of contact for adoptive families interested in learning more about the Uganda adoption program and will be the one assisting families feeling led to adopt from Uganda. Hedda does not work out of the Raleigh office and can be reached by email or phone (618) 604-8524.
